The guest of honor at this ceremony was Mr. Teo Chee Hean, the State Counselor and Coordinating Minister for National Security of Singapore. Also present were the Mayor of the Southeast District, the Member of Parliament for Marine Parade GRC Mr. Mohd Fahmi Aliman.
The 2022 Renyin Year Nine Emperor Gods Prayer Boat once again broke the record, with more than 17,000.
The whole process of this send-off is open to devotees, and there will also getai performances and grand fireworks shows.
