During the Dragon Boat Festival on 19 June 2026, Kew Ong Yah Temple (Upper Serangoon) was filled with a joyful and peaceful festive atmosphere. Many devotees visited the temple to collect water from its century-old well and prepared the traditional Noon Water (午时水) at the auspicious noon hour, praying for protection, good fortune, good health, and peace.
Taoist priest also conducted blessing ceremonies and chanted sacred scriptures, praying for harmony, prosperity, and the well-being of all devotees and their families. The century-old well continues to symbolise a cherished cultural tradition, allowing devotees to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with faith, gratitude, and blessings. View Photo Album
